crazy radicals!

I am so grateful to live in America and be able to voice my opinion so I am going to take that opportunity now! In South Ogden, Utah (not too far from me) an African American family came home after Pres. elect Obama was voted into office to hang an American flag in support. Later that night someone burned their flag. It was so moving for me to see Pres. elect Obama's speech and regardless if you supported him or not, you must admit it was a great moment in history. For me it was so amazing, finally we can tell our children anyone can be president. Regardless of race, religion or gender and it is true. Then to have these crazy radicals torch someones flag on their own front porch? This is a giant step back in my opinion. What gives them the right to put others lives in danger? If you don't like that Obama made it into office you will have a chance in 4 more years to change it. This family legally voiced their opinion...The crazy people that torched their flag did not. You can't vandalize someones property to make your point. Does anyone else find this repulsive? This was a hate crime! If you don't like the choice that the people of this great nation made, move somewhere that your choices are made for you.

Thanksgiving

I spend too much time complaining, so I decided to list some things that I am Thankful for. I am hoping this will lift my spirits!

1. I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He is such a good father and he works really hard to provide for us. One of my favorite things he does is rub my belly. He always tells me how much he loves my belly (I always think he is crazy, but it makes me feel good that he still thinks I'm beautiful)

2. Of course I am so thankful for my little Parker. I guess he isn't so little anymore! I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He is a little stinker sometimes, but he is so loving and he does help me out a lot. I love doing fun crafts with him and watching him learn and grow. And our little Sarah, we love her already and look forward to holding her in our arms. *this doesnt mean now little girl...stay put until you are ready! :) (she seems to be a little anxious to get here. I have been contracting again and already had to have them stopped.)

3. I am thankful to have a place to call home! I love our little duplex, and as much as I would like to have my own home this is great for right now. We have enough room for our family and I love the area.

4. I am thankful for mine and Ryan's family. I have great siblings and in-laws. I am glad that we all get along and I am so thankful for all of the love and support we get from them. We can always count on them and they are more than willing to help us with anything we need.

5. I am thankful for my great friends! It doesn't seem like I have as many friends as I used to, but the ones I have are so amazing and they are always here for me. Megan and Mel are the best, and I am so glad that we have remained friends for so long. I have other great friends, but these two have a special place in my heart.

The list could go on and on, but my house needs a bit of picking up before I head to bed! I am so glad that we have this time of year to look back on things we are thankful for. I really do have so many great things/people in my life. Love you all!
