would you like any cheese with that whine?

I had my gall bladder taken out last Monday. They said it would take about a week to recover. Now I'm at a week and a half and I am still struggling. I just want to be able to pick Parker up ( I still do every once in a while, and then it seems like I have yet another set back. I never learn!) I wish I were "normal" and was up and going this week. I guess my body is trying to take care of a baby as its first priority and so whatever is left over is going to my recovery. It makes sense, but it is still so frustrating to not be able to take care of my family the way I would like to. Thank you for all of the love and prayers, we appreciate all of our wonderful family and friends!

On a less whiny note, we will find out the sex of our baby the 20th of October. We are so excited and whatever we have we will welcome to our family with open arms. Parker has been telling us its a girl baby so we will see if he is right. He seems to know that I am having a baby. He points to my belly and says "hi baby in there!" and kisses my belly. Not sure if he really understands it or not, but either way it's so cute! You can bet I will announce to you all as soon as we find out!

Hey, Brit! Cute blog! I have one, too! It is sharonssnippets.blogspot.com
It isn't very exciting, but my kids wanted me to do one, too. My 2 daughters are linked to mine, but Sarah's is private. You might like Regan's...she is so creative! Anyway, I am looking forward to keeping up with you! Hope that is ok!!

We are going in for our ultrasound with the perinatologist on the 20th too. We haven't decided if we want to find out or not. I am sure, when it comes down to it, I will want to know. I hope you are feeling better and that you have more energy than I do. It seems I have good days and bad days. You will definitely have to keep in touch with me and let me know how you are feeling. GOOD LUCK WITH EVERYTHING!
